You can click on the title to play it again, or right mouse click on it to save to download to your computer (follow the instructions below.)

Q. Can I download and save the DRM protected .WMV or .WMA Windows Media file to my computer for later viewing?

A. Yes, you can. Here's how:

  1. In Windows Media Player, click on the Video File icon in the lower left hand corner.

  2. Click File > Save as

  3. Select the location of the backup copy of your .WMA file. TIP: place it in your Windows Media Player Library so your Windows Media Player can easily find it.

  5. Click Save Now.

  6. Next time you want to view the video, open your Windows Media Player and click on Library, or navigate to the location of the .WMA file and double click on it.

Q. Is There A Way To Backup & Restore My DRM Protected WMA & WMV Files?

A. Please note that you, the user can only backup & restore the license as allowed in the media rules; and only with Windows Media Player 7, 8, 9 and 10 supports license backup and restore feature. If you use WMP11, you can't use Windows Media Player to control the DRM licenses.

Following is how to backup licenses of DRM protected .WMV or .WMA Windows Media files:

  1. In Microsoft Windows Media Player, click on the Tools menu.

  2. Click Manage Licenses in Windows Media Player 10, or click License Management in Windows Media Player 7-9.

  3. To change the backup location, click Change, and then select a location where you want to store backup copies of your licenses.

  4. Click Back Up Now.

Following is how to restore licenses of DRM protected .WMV or .WMA Windows Media files (Windows Media Player 7-10):

  1. In Windows Media Player, click on the Tools menu.

  2. Click Manage Licenses in Windows Media Player 10, or click License Management in Windows Media Player 7-9.

  3. Select the location of the backup copies of your licenses. If you need to, insert the USB flash disk/memory key or floppy disk where your licenses are stored.

  4. Make sure you're connected to Internet.

  5. Click Restore Now.

Q. I Can't See My Download Link

A. First, please make sure you are using the Internet Explorer web browser and Windows Media Player version 10 or higher.

Please request that your license is reset. Once reset go back to your order (or refresh the page) and make sure you look for a yellow bar towards the top of the browser window asking to accept an ActiveX control. If this bar appears, please have accept the ActiveX control.

If the bar does not appear, AND you still do not see a download link, please read below:

The Adventure Productions Video Download Store (Digital Rights Director Media Store) has some very specific technology developed by Microsoft that requires a security upgrade to the operating system for this link to be visible. This security upgrade happens automatically assuming you, the user is on a licensed version of Windows and is using the Internet Explorer web browser. The programming to make this happen in the Adventure Productions Video Download Store (Digital Rights Director Media Store) was written for us directly by Microsoft.
The ONLY times we have seen cases where the customer is unable to see the download link, is when they are on an UNLICENSED version of the Windows Operating System.
The best solution is to please contact Microsoft and/or Adventure Productions Video Download Store will refund your purchase.

Q. I've received this error message, "ERROR: You've encountered error message C00D11B1 while using Windows Media Player". What do I do?

A. This is not an issue with the media store. This is a device driver issue, not a license issue. We recommend you try updating your audio device driver. Please see the following information and follow link to check the status of your sound device:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/webhelp/default.aspx?&mpver=11.0.6001.7000&id=C00D11B1&contextid=87&originalid=8889000A

Please contact Microsoft or your audio device manufacturer for additional support.
